What does it matter if as we see on The Big Bang Theory, the imbecilic
viewpoints of thirty minutes spent playing is all that is going to be
entered into the minutes of time? Not one second was spent admiring
Zork's vocabulary. Perhaps not one second will be spent admiring World
of Warcraft's Internet Connectivity, which is it's mass feat. Anything
else has been tacked on by a product cornering the market. Much as
INFOCOM cornered the market and created thirty-four video games based on
their vocabulary mechanism.
We'll get some genius on a Medieval Themed sitcom stating that there are
seven other people in the game with him on World of Warcraft which is
now played on an emulator. Then he will bash how quests are exactly the
same over an estimated 144 hours to achieve the top rank. How there are
100 recipes for wolf pig and clam yet none after that. How there is not
one mindbender in the entire game. How no detectable skills are learned
where in the modern day people learn how to kill too efficiently because
of the good graphics and realism. How inflation runs rampant in a
contained system because of fucked up gold selling laws, and lastly how
everyone gets hacked every day.
Don't tread on me.
