Oh, man. <Shakes head> That took me back. I grew up hearing
arguments like this.

In order to view the world (or anything else) with any rational sense,
one must not be wearing blinders set to zero transmission, which
effectively leaves out all religious creationutcases

I hope the flashback wasn't too painful! I'd never read this
particlar one before. I thought it might be worth sharing.

Alternatively, you can have arguments like this delivered
daily, by All-Seeing-I, on talk.origins.

Oh, I lived through it. <Grin> It was worth sharing; folks who did
not grow up christian fundamentalist need to know how these people
think.

I try to avoid ASI's posts, as I've been having problems with
hypertension lately. I usually only get the parts that the howlers
quote when they respond to him. I don't think I've answered one of
his posts directly since he was strutting around a.a. using "[M]Adman"
as his nym and claiming that Navajos never got cancer.

What rational sense allows for the creation of the duck, eh.........universe, if
not God.

If you wannbe, it is easy to actually be.
Just stop claiming to know what you do not really know.

The fact that the universe is out there and we are in it proves its
EXISTENCE to us, but nothing in that universe requires that it must have
been created by something else.

Please. You're talking to someone who it took MONTHS to convince that
the MOON rotates on its axis... and STILL hasn't figured out how a
ball on a string works. Logic is NOT his strong suite.
