Why? Judaism, Zoroastrians, Christianity, Islam, Bahai, Sikhs, ...all
worship the same God.
Rumi pointed this out 7 centuries ago, why are atheists so
S-L-O-W to catch up? It's as if you don't evolve at all! B^]
THE ONE TRUE LIGHT
Some Hindus bought an elephant, which they exhibited in a dark shed.
As seeing it was impossible, everyone felt it with the palm of his hand.
The hand of one fell on its trunk: he said "This animal is like a water
pipe".
Another touched its ear: to him the creature seemed like a fan.
Another handled its leg and described the elephant as having the shape
of a pillar.
Another stroked its back. "Truly", said he, "this elephant resembles a
throne".
Had each of them held a lighted candle
there would have been no contradiction in their words.
The lamps are different but the Light is the same: it comes from Beyond.
If thou keep looking at the lamp, thou art lost:
for there arises the appearance of number and plurality.
Fix thy gaze upon the Light,
and thou art delivered from the dualism inherent in the finite body.
O thou who art the Kernel of Existence,
the disagreement between Moslem, Zoroastrian and Jew depends upon the
standpoint.
- Jalal'u'din Rumi (1207 1273)

Several weeds, same root.
I note the Zorastrians and Bahi haven't done so well in Iran under
Islam.
I note that there are several other dozen religions in the world your
daren't mention.
Rest of stupidity snipped.

Ask a Seventh Day Adventist, Mormon, orthodox Jew or a member of AL
Kaida about that.
There are lots of supposedly Christian sects which explicitly deny the
faiths of other Christian sects, much less the gods of any sort of
non-christians.
Children are BORN atheists. That's why every religion forces them into
isolation to be brainwashed by the clergy's minions as soon as possible
to imprint them with their parents' superstitions.
Don't believe that? Locate a child that has never been subject to any
kind of theist "education". You'll find that child is an atheist, as
he has never seen any evidence, real or imagined, of any kind if deity.
They don't find boogie men under their beds unless they are TOLD there
are boogie men under their beds, either....which should be considered
child abuse just like religious indoctrination.
Atheist children, "untreated" by the terror and enslavement, are the
happiest humans on the planet.....and the smartest because their minds
are not preoccupied with superstition and terror. Don't let your kids
anywhere near them! They'll easily revert back to their natural state
without the constant weekly indoctrination you keep paying for every
Friday or Saturday or Sunday.
Since there is absolutely no evidence, there is no assurance that any of the
existing ones got it right.
Since there is absolutely no evidence, there is no assurance that any future
"religions" will get it right.
Since there is absolutely no evidence, there is no assurance that there IS
anything to "get right".
Therefore, one can only be reasonably sure that any believers have
absolutely nothing, based in reality, to support their beliefs.
Not only have you not "proven" anything about the christian/biblical god
......... neither you or anyone else have proven anything about any god.
Neither you or anyone else has shown there is a valid reason to accept even
the CONCEPT of a god.
Atheism needs no evidence, since religious claimants have shown there is
nothing supportive of their beliefs.
You need no evidence to "not" believe.
Doent matter if you dont stupidly ignore the basis of all religious
beliefs, being the inherent nature for men to subjugate themselves on
the basis that there have been 'superior' historical individuals who
'knew better', exploited of course, by the priestcraft, who have a
penchant for usurping such beliefs, often contradicting their
particular 'enlightened one'
Sheep need shepherds even if it is only to be lead, until it is time
for the individual to graduate.

Agreed.

Disagree. The more complexities science unveils, the more people
experience awe of the incredible intelligence at work. Many scientists
ahve made such comments.
In the past, god was a 'convenient truth', but today, it is difficut
to avoid such concepts. They just need updating.

The perennial question is "does an atheist 'know' there is no god"?
The answer can only be 'no', therefor catagorising the lable as a
belef.
The real dillema in the modern world,is to seperate metaphysical from
the traditional. To do that, metaphysical has to be seperated from old
god concepts, which, in most cases, were 'written (reported)' as
interpretations of metaphysical events.
Guilt by association to rational people.

Who created the intelligence that created the intelligence that
created the universe?
Who created the concept 'created'?
