Monday Night Film Club summer season of classic cinema

hi,

I'd mentioned about putting on some of the classic titles from the Sight and Sound Top 100 for the summer months, one film per month, thanks to your feedback.

Dates and films are:

FEAR EATS THE SOUL (Steve's choice) - Monday 19 June at 7.00pm (off Blu-Ray but the quality is as good as regular film download)

IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE (Alex B.'s choice), Mon 24 July at 7.00pm (again off Blu-Ray)

Fritz Lang's M (from the McMorran household),

Or

Blade Runner (The Final Cut) (Alec's choice), Monday 14 August

We can discuss the August one soon. Whichever film is chosen in August the other one will be shown later in the year. I'll get other Film Club regulars choices and these can be slotted in throughout the year, maybe a regular Sunday afternoon slot?

If any dates don't work let me know and they can be swapped to another Monday. I know that Steve said if you're not available Connor would introduce, is that right?

That looks great! It'll be nice to have some continuity over the summer - I know you did it last year but I was still hiding away.

If it turns out that 14^th August is going to be M, that will be fine for me/us (or later in the year, don't mind either - whatever works for you and access to films).

Connor has sorted out his next trip to St Andrews for June and he should be back for an intro to Fear Eats the Soul on 19^th June.

If his train's delayed or anything, I can do it, as Alun and I are not going to Brum until later that week. Will be thinking of you and your family in Croatia, Steve, when we're driving through Spaghetti Junction.
