Sight and Sound / Fear Eats the Soul

Hi all,

Just wondering if you'd like Fear Eats the Soul (Steve's #1 selection from the Sight and Sound poll from last year) as a Monday Night Film? Best we can do is show from Blu-Ray, a download a la new releases is twice our normal rate. No problem if not.

Same applies with all the other choices, not all in one or two sessions obviously. They can be spread throughout the year. If you'd prefer your choices out with a Monday just let us know your preference for a time / day of the week. 

Alex's choice of The Apartment will be screened off blu-ray if that's alright (again an expensive one if it's a via a digital download). 

Blade Runner (Alec) - will establish just which version we're going to get first. 

Connor's choice of Stalker will be a Sunday afternoon screening, date tbc. Possibly too long for a Monday film as it's 2 hours 40 minutes.

Thank you, John - i didn't mind not havign a choice, but here goes...

The reason for either of the following films is the same: During lockdown, and in the absence of being able to go to film club at the RBC, we had our own weekly lockdown film club at home. The following films were two of those we watched and discussed and I loved both of them (I'm ashamed to say I'd not seen either of them before):

M - Fritz Lang

or

The 400 Blows - Francois Truffeau

We also watched Metropolis, which I found absolutely mesmerising, but it's another very long film...

And yes from Connor and me to watching everyone's films scattered through the year at film club ( except Stalker).
