Geppeto - consumer programming tool based on widget composition

Hi all,

I've just discovered this group so please let me introduce the project
which I work on at the University of Zagreb. Geppeto is a consumer-
level programming environment based on widget composition. The idea
behind Geppeto is to use existing widgets (Google Gadgets) as building
blocks and compose them into new widgets to create new value. The
process of composition is achieved with a programming-by-demonstration-
like programming model which we believe is understandable to the
widest possible consumer audience. The Geppeto environment itself is a
widget designed to run on the iGoogle page.
