Hi everyone,

Interesting discussion taking place on the W3C list about proposed use
of W3C Widgets in an ISO MPEG standard - e.g. for widgets on TVs and
other devices.

Notably there is an IWC proposal in the MPEG work using defined
message-in/message-out constructs (did someone else use this model? I
can't remember now). I think its intended as a generic messaging model
for widgets rather than pure IWC - some of the UCs seem to be things
like a video player widget sending a message to a lightbulb to dim
itself :-)
