STEM4US! Salutes Chris Hart Keynote Speaker at Annual Partners Meeting |
|
|
 | On Thursday, November 15, 2018, scores of business leaders, government professionals, and educators participated in the STEM4US! Annual Meeting. We were treated to an insightful conversation with Christopher A. Hart, former Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
Hart, a lawyer, pilot, and active parent, spoke about his work at the NTSB. He also discussed his more recent endeavors including serving as an advisor to Uber on the safety of its autonomous vehicles fleet.
According to Hart, since significant investments are being made to protect self-driving vehicles from cyber attacks people seeking to work in the cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence fields should have little problem finding good jobs and living well for the foreseeable future.
Hart also committed to continue supporting STEM4US! as a member of its Board of Advisors.
