Lend me a Hand: YES WE CAN Bring Change to Hyattsville

Family, Friends and Colleagues,

It’s a wonderful day and polls are open now, so I am going to keep this email brief.

First, I want to share how blessed I feel to have received so much support from you all over the past weeks in my quest to bring change to our wonderful city of Hyattsville.

The incumbent and his supporters have been vocal, but they are the minority.  Now its up to us.  We have nine more hours to get our vote to the polls.

So today, I urge you to stand with me by lending a hand to our campaign for change.  Go online this morning and donate what you can at: paypal.me/KarimforCouncil.

Like in the historic election of 2008, we can elect a new voice, someone who is not a part of the groupthink that appears to control our city, someone who is committed to listening to everyone.

I have faith that our neighbors in Hyattsville, will make the best choice. Until then, I plan to keep working, keep door knocking, calling you, and working the polls.  And when it’s all done, after the election results, join us at Busboys and Poets from 8pm-10pm to celebrate.

So, spread the word so we can bring a new voice to City Hall and make Hyattsville, even better.
