Here is a shot of a private cove that I was taken to by a local Caper. As much as I'd love to spout about Cape Breton, its wonderfully friendly people who act as their brother's keeper, and the amazing natural beauty found there.... go and see for yourself.
Plane tickets there are cheap for staying in one of the best hotels in Canada [Cambridge Suites] and seeing one of the most beautiful roads known to man [The Cabot Trail].
I usually say that when I hold a camera, I feel no pain, fear or hunger. It was freezing out there, but I could have stayed for hours. Watching the sun rise over the Atlantic, over volcanic cliffs covered with winter's first fall, is something I won't forget anytime soon.
And this shot is just one of the "OK" ones. I am working on it! I have a massive panorama that I am going to post soon, but like how Ansel Adams obsessed over each print, so will I. To quote the eccentric man, "Time respects only that would have needed time to create".
