Holiday Entertainment

Hi all - I've been a member here for quite a while now but never
posted before because, to be perfectly honest, didn't think I would be
able to stop once I got going about my views on the park...... Anyway
enough of that the reason I am writing today is to ask for everyone's
help and views over the Children's school holidays this year. We live
in Manchester and for the past couple of years my Children's half term
week in October has been different from certain ones in other
boroughs. Therefore when arriving at the club in the evenings there
was NO entertainment and NO kid's reps around to do any activities or
even allow the teenagers upstairs. Needless to say kids were bored
stupid in the evenings and the holidays turned out to be a complete
flop!

I mentioned this to Jamie when we upgraded our van 2 years ago and he
assured me that in the future they will ring all counties and cater
for all the children's holidays.

I have recently discovered that this coming Easter the holidays are
different again - another owner I know lives in Stockport and her kids
are off from 21st March but ours do not finish school until 4th April
for 2 weeks (due to Easter falling so early this year). I have just
been on the telephone to the Park Reception and also the Manager's
P.A. and basically been informed that there is only entertainment on
from the 21st March during the weeknights and after that it reverts
back to weekends only in the cabaret room.

What are my kids to do now in their Easter Break? All our finances are
tied up in the Extortionate Park Charges and van payments so we cannot
afford to take them elsewhere for holidays.

Please check your diaries and make sure your Children's holidays fit
around Talacre! and please let me know if you, or anybody you know, is
in the same 'boat' as me.

ps I'm so sorry that my first posting couldn't have been a nicer one
but don't think there is anything nice I can say about the Park at the
moment.
