Can I enter a return of capital transaction by selling zero shares for some amount of currency?

Hi David,

TS2 will not permit you enter a zero value for the number of shares
sold. I recommend doing the following:

(1) Add a cash deposit entry to your portfolio and reference the
security in the comment field.
(2) Edit the associated position and reduce its cost basis by the
appropriate amount. Reference the return of capital deposit (by date)
in the position's comment field.
