Hi Ravi
I found a strange behaviour and not sure if it came it with latest version or something has changed from Yahoo.
If I add dividens for British stocks (in British pence), for example IMB.L, it adds/shows the value all with a factor 100 from the real valure, which would be nice to have, but is not correct ;-)
Kind regards
Ralf

Hi Ralf,
The problem actually seems to be this:
(1) You added IMB.L to your portfolio and modified the position's
information provider to apply a factor of 0.01 to convert the current
price in GBp (pence) to GBP (pounds).
(2) However, this factor isn't being applied to dividend payments as it
should.
(3) Also, the CAGR column for the security doesn't use the custom factor.
Thanks for reporting this issue. I'll add it to my to-fix list.
As a workaround, please clear the factor to show all values in GBp. You
will need to convert the security's per-share purchase price to GBp so
that profits are correctly displayed.
When the fix is implemented, simply reset the factor to 0.01.

Hi Ravi
Just to clarify further, I have the stock already for year and did not change (intentionally and I also did not found where to do it) the factor. Also the current prices and value all show in pence, which is the value traded at the stock. It also is the same behaviour for all of my other british stocks. Possibly Yahoo changed in which value (pence or pounds) the dividend is shown?

Hi Ralf,
Thanks for the clarification.
You're right. It seems Yahoo is reporting the dividends incorrectly.

Hi Ravi
Thanks for confirmation and I learned something new (adjustment of the price factor).

Hi Ravi
Thank you for the explanation.
To clarify, I did not modified anything (intentionally, I also did not found where to do it), as I have the positions already for a long time and have the same problem for all my British Stocks. Also the current value all show in pence, which is how the shares are traded in. Possibly Yahoo was showing the dividends converted before?
Thanks
Ralf

Hi Ravi
Sorry to add some information. I believe the value coming from Yahoo may already be wrong, as if I check on their web page, a value of 5,426.00 is shown, but in pence it should be 54.26 (0.5426 Pounds).

Short Update on the wrong GBp by Yahoo issue. Yahoo has corrected the bug and values are correct again.
