to take rule compiler
Hi,

I have presented TAKE at the Australian Software Engineering
Conference in Perth last week. The paper presented was "ON CODE
GENERATION FOR DERIVED ASSOCIATIONS", written by Bastian, Gerd and
myself. The focus of his paper was on using TAKE to generate code for
rule defined derived associations in UML models. The full paper will
be available through IEEE Xplore. Once I know the DOI, I will add a
link to the full paper to the presentation. The presentation is
online: http://docs.google.com/Presentation?id=dgzzp6gn_93c8k8gqhb , I
have also added a link to the presentation to the doc wikipage.

The presentation went well, unfortunately we had only about 15 people
attending it as Richard Soley from the OMG gave a tutorial at the same
time in a parallel session. I had an interesting discussion with Prof
Leon Sterling from Melbourne (famous for his book "The Art of Prolog")
after the presentation. One issues discusses was whether using
iterators in the API add a procedural flavour to TAKE.

Cheers, Jens
