You should be OK for that. Watch for version compatibility issues - you don't want to migrate something forward that still needs to be worked with your current version. Another thing to watch out for is the trial license is Desktop/stand-alone only. If you are planning on using network licensing you'll likely need to re-install (more preferably, build a deployment).
The project is in Revit 2016 also- so no problem with compatibility. But I had not known about stand-alone vs network installation. The license I want to buy after the trial is a month-to-month license, and I believe those are single user licenses.
I heard about a firm once that delivered a project using Rhino just using trial licenses and moving from one machine to another when the trial period ran out (in the case of Rhino it's limited on the number of saves you get) - they then stood up at a conference and told everyone what they had done... McNeel not best pleased!! (not for one moment suggesting this is what the OP is planning, just a tale on how some people abuse trial licenses... ) ;o)

I would like to try out AutoCAD. Inside Autodesck site, In the box "Lets start" I only found two options: "A business user" or "A student or teacher". I'm not a studente or a teacher or a business user. Im only a common user. How can I access a trial license for a common user? Where is the place in Autodesk site that I can download in my instance?
I remembre that I'm not a company, or a student or a teacher. I did not get any license of AutoCAD. I am just a common user who would like to try Autocad, 2017 version. So, I need to access the trial version of autocad 2017.
I own AutoCAD 2014 and was unable to load on Windows 10 (continued crashes)- I started using an LT trial version with the intention of subscribing for an LT version. I Finally got my AutoCAD 14 to load on my PC, but now can't save my work from trial version down to R14- I'm assuming the trial version prohibits saving files to prior versions? Can someone confirm this, or am I having an issue w/ "Save As"?
i downloaded and installed the 2016 AutoCAD free trial however that has just run out. I am hoping to re-install the trial so i can add some more drawings to my resume and have a portfolio of examples.
I suppose if you wiped your system clean and reinstalled your operating system, maybe you could reinstall the trial version again? Maybe? But do you really want to go to all that trouble just for another 30 days of use?
Download free trials of Autodesk professional 2D & 3D design tools. Choose from AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Maya, Civil 3D, Inventor, Revit, and more. The license for the free version is valid for 3-years. If we want to use AutoCAD commercially or for other purposes, we can. Autocad is now available here which is free for Windows 10,8,7 (32/64 bit). it is full version offline installer which you can download and install it.
