Hello, I'm looking for the best small yet very detailed vessels I can find, something with a good interior including an engine room. What can you guys recommend for me? I've searched the workshop, but the boats I'm finding are either small racing vessels or ships so large they lag the game out.
Hello y'all, i'm having a bit of a struggle with this game. So there is this youtuber called '' camodo gaming'' and he does things like sinking ship survival. It looked like so much fun and I wanted to try this out myself, this is mainly the reason why I bought the game. However I can't get any workshop ships to sink, and I don't know what i'm doing wrong. Ship damage is on and physics detail is set to high. I get attacked by megalodons and krakens etc and the damage textures (the grey scratch marks) do show up, but there is no water leaking in at all. Even after a full hour I go check at the place where the damage occured and no water has come in, it's bone dry. I have seen posts like this and some may say it seeps in very slowly but I swear this is not the case. So am I doing something wrong here? Is there a special setting i forgot to enable?
I got a pretty big ship now but it turns quite slow, I'm curious what you guys use as rudders for big ships. Do you make custom ones or use existing blocks? What is the best positioning for the rudder?
Capsizing refers to when a ship gets flipped upside down and can't recover. It is possible to design ships which cannot capsize and will automatically self-right even if turned completely upside down, such as submarines. Ships can also be designed with a variety of active measures to counteract being capsized.
