After that, looking back at my work, I can see the skills I developed living and growing amongst every piece of art that goes out to the world. That project paid my bills for a month. While working on that commission I gained skills and style that were all mine, unique to me. Suddenly, I was a REAL artist. I had caught the wave, both on the canvas and in life.
Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two-year community/technical college that offers more than 70 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor's degree.

WAVES is a creative writing club open to all students at HGTC. HGTC also has a student journal where students can submit their work and, if selected, have their work digitally published. WAVES Student Journal accepts submissions in a range of styles: poetry, memoir, short story, non-fiction, creative non-fiction, academic writing, lyrics, visual art, etc. WAVES is open to all HGTC students.
22 Waves Creative is a Santa Monica based Production company that specializes in cinematic branded content for national brands including Disney, Viacom, Kashi, Fairmont Hotels, GE, and more. In additional to digital media, our company also focuses on broadcast commercials and speciality camera work for Television shows, including Battlebots on ABC. Six Studios with high quality equipment and a custom lightsystem are available for our clients to carry out the designprocess on full scale modelswith materials such as clay, PU, or others. Design and engineering are developed in a parallel process, supported by 3D scan systems and the latest 3d measuring tools in order to assure the best communication between departments. Automotive exterior or interior models, nautical or aerspace design models are quickpainted or covered with Dynoc foilas well as assambled with trim and hardmodelling parts for presentations throughout the process.
Katie Garibaldi is a singer/songwriter, guitar player, filmmaker, and music supervisor. Her music has been featured in many noteworthy magazines, blogs and independent radio, and accolades include international songwriting, producing, and music video awards. With the growth of a strong network in the music and film industries, Katie is leveraging her experience as an independent artist, production skills, and passion for creative storytelling in a music supervision role with her company Owl At The Moon Creative. She is also currently working on her first short film. In true multi-passionate artistic fashion, Katie enjoys speaking and writing on the subjects of spirituality and creativity.

Maria is an insatiably curious soul, particularly fascinated by the mysterious workings of the human brain, medical history, and our relationship with our own bodies, both during and after life. Before joining Medical News Today, Maria worked as a teacher, academic ambassador, and a freelance writer and copy editor. Recently, she finished a Ph.D. in English at the University of Warwick in the U.K. In her spare time, she learns Japanese, occasionally practices taxidermy, and spreads her infectious love of invertebrates.
