More on the Hualien Trip

Wow, we've had a lot of replies so far, and it's hard to be selective, but to be totally fair I'll wait another couple of days and dole out the remaining two spaces to the most regular attending hikers that have replied, so if you haven't been answered yet and we've met let me know - there's still a chance!!! 

   To make spread the good things a little more widely though, for the paying part of the trip I can take another five people. The offer is to come down with us on Friday night, do your own thing in the gorge Saturday while we adventure up to the hot springs, meet up on Saturday night for dinner and night camping or B&B, and Sunday all ten do the Zhuilu Old Trail and another shorter walk if time before heading back to Taipei Sunday PM.

   Hoping to leave Taipei by around 6 pm Friday if poss; can leave a bit later if necessary but don't want to be too late to the gorge, especially if we're going to camp...

 

   Same rules apply, I"m afraid - to be fair hikers who have been with us before get preference. I need to know by Thursday evening (Albanian time!)

 

IMPORTANT: Saturday we'll be staying in a homestay at the base of the gorge (about NT$1,000 per person). On Friday night, please let me know if you'd like to stay in the homestay again (another NT$1,000) or camp (majority vote will rule on this, as we can't afford to split the group - too confusing). Those joining just for Sunday can, of course,alternatively come down on Saturday by themselves and arrange to meet us at the homestay.
