New Taipei Hikers group site on Facebook

Hi,

     I've had a bit of free time these few days and am finally starting to shift Taipei Hikers over to Facebook, where it'll be much easier to share photos, asak questions and - dare I hope for this - start getting other admins and other hikers to start organising hikes! Many thanks to at least two of you (besides Grant, who's already organised one group hike) for expressing a serious interest in becoming guides. Late rising hikes and easier walks would be especially appreciated, I'm sure.

I'll continue posting info up on this dull, B/W format for a while at least, so no need to sign up immediately. Not sure if you need to have a Facebook page even to sign onto one of their groups - anyone any ideas? In any event, there'll be a trial period before I publish too much on the Facebook group - not sure if we're going to get too many people joining walks, or find it difficult to control who comes on hikes if I publish meeting details etc on there, but we'll see...

 

 

Hope you like the page (there are already loads of photos under the "photos" tab by the way, so you can see what we've been doing since May - it's been a busy year so far!)
