How to run TaintDroid on Emulator

I am new to this and very confused about how to run TaintDroid on the Android Emulator because I do not understand where to access the Android source code so that it changes the Emulator. I have Android Studio, but I am confused about how to get the AOSP there so that I can add TaintDroid. Any help at all would be appreciated!
