Dear Sir,
I have attempted to summarize some of the communications of Shri Ashok Juneja, Hon’ble Governing Council Member and Past Vice President, TAI on the functioning of TAI-Central Office and the following queries need to be answered by you:
· Is it true that after the successful holding of First WTC and earning huge surplus, it was recommended in one of the GC meetings that few selected people should be sent to ITMA Spain in 2011 for doing the wonderful job for the success of First WTC?
If yes, then kindly share the minutes of such G C Meeting confirming the above.
Kindly also share the names of such wonderful persons.
· Is it true that the people who visited ITMA 2011 on the expanse of TAI, were not the same in total as was approved in the aforesaid G C Meeting?
·
Is it true that most of the people went to ITMA 2011 with their spouse and also extended the trip to Europe?
· Whether the requests from some senior members were received to disclose the expanses?
· Whether the expanses were disclosed?
· Whether there had been demands for the independent audit of the accounts of Ist WTC, 2nd WTC and the Bangkok Conference?
If yes, then whether the accounts were audited by the Independent Committee?
· Whether many people have visited Thailand for the sake of making arrangements of the Conference? What are their names and what are the expenses for such visits.
· Whether several vouchers pertaining to the drinks for entertainment were submitted by Immediate Past Vice President?
What are such expanses? Details may kindly be furnished to the Hon’ble Members of the Governing Council.
· Whether there have been irregularities in holding the last elections for the posts of the President and the Vice President of the Central Body?
Several communications alleging irregularities in the matter are on record. Several communications from Mr A V Mantri, Hon Secretary, TAI – Mumbai Unit pertaining to irregularities in the last elections are also on record.
There are several other issues also which are sub-judice at the moment and shall be submitted to you in due course of time.
Immediate Reply may kindly be furnished to the Hon’ble Members of the Governing Council and the Hon’ble Trustees of the Association.
