Dear Mr. Parikh,
Sincere thanks for sharing the judgement of Tis Hajari Court Delhi for the case of Mr. Sudhish Agarwal versus The Textile Association ( India).
Although it is very difficult to understand the legal language of the the verdict but understand the intension of circulation that TAI have won the case. Hope, it is full and final and now case is over.
Congratulation to the National President & office bearer of TAI Central office for putting efforts to kill the case in lower court itself only and got the final verdict in their favour with minimum expenses and efforts.
Request to please confirm my understanding is right.

Subject: RE: Judgement by Tis Hajari Court, Delhi of Mr. Suddish Agarwal versus The Textile Association (India)
Dear All,
Hon’ble Courts/Judicial Authorities/Government Authorities/Registrar of Companies/Charity Commissioner etc are yet to announce the verdict on the following:
1. Whether there have been irregularities in holding the last elections for the posts of the President and the Vice President of the Central Body. Several communications alleging irregularities in the matter are on record. Several communications from Mr A V Mantri, Hon Secretary, TAI – Mumbai Unit pertaining to irregularities in the last elections are also on record
2. Whether the decision of few individuals (some of whom may not be the part of the Award Assessment Committee duly approved by the Hon’ble Members of the Governing Council) to exclude Delhi Unit for being considered for Best Unit Trophy is correct?
3. Whether the selection of MP Unit for the Best Unit Trophy is correct?
4. Whether the selection of Mr Ashok Veda for the Service Gold Medal is correct?
5. Whether the Governing Council Membership (other than Office Bearer) of Mr Ashok Veda is only for seven years as informed by Hon’ble President Shri Arvind Sinha or is for sixteen years as wrongly informed by the learned Advocate for TAI?
It may be mentioned here that as per Evaluation Criteria, no marks can be given for only seven years Governing Council Membership whereas Mr Veda has been given 11 marks on this account. One has to be a Governing Council Member for 10 years to get such marks. If someone is a Governing Council Member for less than 10 years, he would get ZERO marks.
6. Whether the TAI is a professionally managed organization, wherein, even the minutes of the Governing Council Meetings are circulated 3-4 months after the meetings are held
7. Whether the selection of Mr R K Vij, Former President, TAI-Delhi for ‘Industry Excellency Award’ was correct or not?
It is surprising that Mr R K Vij, had not even applied for the ‘Industry Excellency Award’ and the nominations were not sought for this award at all. The fact is Mr R K Vij had applied for Service Gold Medal. It is apprehended that ‘Someone’ else was adjusted in his place and Mr R K Vij was compensated with ‘Industry Excellency Award’.
How can at the first instance, Mr Vij be considered for an award for which he has not applied? Why were nominations from other units for Industry Excellence Award invited?
8. Whether the Evaluation criteria for the awards was approved in the Governing Council Meeting held in Surat in December 2013 as wrongly claimed by the learned Advocate for the Textile Association (India)?
In fact, on perusal of the minutes, you would understand that that the criteria was never approved by G C Meetings at Surat and Indore as claimed in the reply of the Advocate for defendants. As per minutes, only a committee was formed and there was no discussion on this point in subsequent meetings.
I hope that the Central Office of TAI shall be courteous to forward my views and those of Shri R L Kapoor to all other Hon’ble Members of the Governing Council.
Regards
Sudhish Aggarwala
President, TAI-Delhi Unit
