I'm absolutely honoured that my name has come up in the recommendation of this prestigious post.

 

Unfortunately, at this time I'm due for a four year term as Chairman of the ITME society and it involves a lot of commitments on my part and a lot of travel ...... So, I'm unable to make a commitment to the Textile Association at this point in time.

The Textile Association (India) is the national body of textile professionals and technocrats in the country. It has more than 70 years of service to the industry to its credit. Its membership, which is over 22,000, is spread throughout length and breadth of the Indian sub-continent with 27 affiliated units at various textile centres in the country. These units arrange lectures, group discussions, seminars, symposia, refresher courses exhibitions and conferences in order to serve the people in textile business.

 

Textile Association (South India Unit)  is a prestigious organisation –one of the affiliated units of TAI (India)

 

The objectives of the Association are enclosed for your ready reference.

 

To name few of the past presidents - Shri G K Sundaram,  Shri SITRA K Sreenivasan, Mr C Soundararaj and many other reverent personalities.

 

After the recent demise of our President Mr C Soundararaj , the TAI SI unit is in the process of selecting the new President.
