Typically one person could be involved in multiple projects at the same time, is there a way to display all tasks assigned to the login user in a special personal kanban? This helps greatly so we don't have to switch back and forth between different projects. It could be a unique selling feature for taiga.io.

Hello Victor,

Good idea but I think it can be done that way because of how Taiga works internally. In Taiga each project status set are different and customizable, we can't make a unique kanban with tasks from different projects because it would have a huge number of columns (multiply the number of projects for the number of possible us status in each one) and the tasks couldn't be moved between all the columns, only to some of them (the ones from the corresponding project). We would have to show a different Kanban for each project but it won't be so magic as having only one and if you have a lot of projects I don't know how usable it would be...

We are currently working in the user home where you will have a list of your working on stuff, it's not so good but it would also help the users :)

Regards!,

The new user home sounds great! It would be of tremendous help if clicking on the task could bring us to the corresponding taskboard or user-story. Thank you guys again for continuous efforts improving the already-amazing tool.

Hello Victor,

As we designed it clicking on the task would take you to the task detail, from there you can always access to the parent user story and taskboard.

Hello,
I agree with not building a user specific kanban board, but a user specific list with all assigned issues should not be a problem. Assigned = assigned and has nothing to do with specific kanban board settings and does not even break between kanban and scrum projects.
Am I right or did I miss something fundamental? Wouldn't be surprised. ;)

Thanks,
Tobias

That list (including issues, tasks and user stories) assigned to you is what Taiga show in your user home under the "Working on" title.
