HI there,

I'm considering using Taiga instead of JIRA + Agile for Scrum management of our team. I've tried Tiaga here and there, what I'm missing the most is the Scrum board as there is in Agile JIRA...is there such a thing in Tiaga? This is quite important for us. Also..is there anywhere I can see who's doing what...something similar to a Gantt?

Thanks in advance,
Alejandro

Sorry Alejandro but I don't know Jira very well. What is the "Scrum board"?

In Taiga if you create a Scrum project you have the baklog view (ex. https://tree.taiga.io/project/the-princess-bride/backlog) with the backlog of the current project and the list of sprints. And there is a taskboard per sprint (ex. https://tree.taiga.io/project/the-princess-bride/taskboard/first-act) with stories and their tasks.

Are this views all that you need?

Regards

Hello David,

Thanks for the quick response. The second screenshot was exactly what I meant, with the typica ongoing, done, planned, etc. Now that you mention it...when I create a task I see no way to relate it with an existing user story...am I missing something?

Thanks,
Alejandro

This Jira scrum board is like kanban in Taiga: a list of stories in columns/statuses. https://tree.taiga.io/project/the-princess-bride/kanban but Jira use a different kanban for Sprint and we have only one per project.

The Backlog view in Taiga has the list of ToDo Stories (or the Produc Backlog: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrum_(software_development)#Product_backlog) plus the diferent Sprints (or Sprint Backlogs: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrum_(software_development)#Sprint_backlog)

The Sprint Taskboard views (one Sprint taskboard view per Sprint) shows the Stories and its Task.

All tasks, except "Unassigned tasks" inside a Sprint, are related to a Story, so where are you trying to create tasks?

Hello David,

We'll I just go to the Issues menu, create a new one, but I can't see how to relate an issue with a user story...

Ok, you only can promete an issue to a user story from its detail page. This action create a user story with the same description, subject and tags.
