taiga.io cannot invite new member to project

Since yesterday the new taiga.io updated, the invite new member just kept hanging after clicking the "create" button. What happened?

Hi Vicotor, we fix this bug right now. Could you test it again?

And If you have problems to see the role selector it's probably because of your cache. If you are using chrome I had to use this method for really cleaning it for tree.taiga.io domain:
  - press F12
  - right click on the reload button of the navigation bar
  - empty cache and hard reload

i got same issue, i have been installed taiga yestoday,  

but the issue is still here.

I solved my issue. The problem was my email settings in ~/taiga-back/settings/local.py were incorrect (port and TLS setting). This caused the invite to not send. I think it would be helpful to have some sort of error (like "email settings incorrect") giving the user an indication as to why the invite didn't go through.
