Taiga docker vs Taiga from sourcecode

While browsing through the taiga docs I could find the system requirements for running taiga from source, the wiki states the following pre-requisites to do so:

2.2. Pre-requisites

A clean, recently updated Ubuntu 20.04 image
At least 1GB RAM
At least 20GB of free storage
TLS certificate to serve Taiga with HTTPS

I couldn't find any info on how much system resources the docker version requires but I have tried to run it on a t3.small (2GB) instance on AWS EC2 that has 400~ MBs of ram used by some node.js and misc os processes without much success (It installs but on run the instance freezes from lack of resources).
