Disable "Create Project" for certain users

Hi guys,

thanks for such a great project!

I'm looking for some easy way to disable possibility to "create project" for certain user role/users. Is there any?

Hello!,

Sorry but actually you can't limit that permission, you just can control if users can auto register. It's one of the enhancements we would like to add to Taiga.

So, I have to alter user model, acl (api access), and send sth to front-end. Am I right?

Yes, in taiga-back you should modify the create_perms attribute from the class ProjectPermission in taiga/projects/permissions.py. I think you should also add a django setting that controls if users can create projects or not.

In front you could use the angular directive "required-perm" for showing or not the create project actions.

If you are working on it you could make a pull request! :)
