(Feature Request) User Stories / Kanban

Why can we only use user stories in the Kanban board and not also use the types (Bug, task, Improvement)?
And wouldn't it be nice if we could add priorities (low, medium, high) not only for issues but also for user stories in Kanban Boards?

I was going to ask a similar question, but before starting a new thread I did a search and found that something of the sort was already asked a while back, so I'll refloat it instead :-)

Leaving aside philosophies (IOW, leaving aside what my be right/wrong in a pure approach for each type of boards), is there also a technical reason that while in a Sprint board you can add/see a list of issues to be tackled (which is very handy being that filtering by user you can see all the workload for that team member), in the Kanban board instead I don't seem to find a way to make the Issues show up? Maybe I am doing something wrong?
