Hi there,

I would like to know if it's possible to host an instance of Taiga on my own laptop/server that is inside my organisation. Working for a bank, and our policy prohibits us from storing anything outside our network.

Thanks

Hej Vic,

Just got to know Taiga, but as far as I know just use the source code https://github.com/taigaio. I hoped it helped.

Hi Vic,

Taiga is Open Source software (concretely AGPL software), this means
you can download and install on your own servers without problems. You
can see installation documentation in
http://taigaio.github.io/taiga-doc/dist/#_setup_production_environment.

If you make changes to the code of taiga for you own porpose, you must
to know that AGPL force to share this changes with the users of "you
own instance", and the changes must be licensed as AGPL too. If you
don't change the code, you haven't restrictions about usage of the
software. If you want to understand better the AGPL you can read more
about it in the wikipedia
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Affero_General_Public_License).

Regards.
