Themes and general customization?

We recently started to use taiga on our server, we wanted to cutsomize some aspects of the interface (putting some logos and so on)

i've done some reaserch and can't find much about that, the only things i found are references to a theming system, but these pint to a chapter of the documentation that doesn't seem available anymore. anyone has some pointers for where to start in customizing the taiga interface?

I wanted to hide votes and # references, was able to load custom css using this plugin: https://github.com/gmarton/taiga-ui-mods

Installed Taiga from source, not sure how to go about it if you have a docker Install.

Hi!

Taiga support themes: it allows customizing app colors and overwriting or adding CSS to any part of Taiga.

In Taiga 6 we dropped preinstalled themes due to its low usage and high maintainability cost, but you can create your own or use any theme of the community.

To create a theme:

1. Duplicate the folder `taiga` under `app/themes` and rename it with the theme name.
2. Then change the CSS of the variables or add CSS to the custom CSS file as you like.
3. Deploy the app (gulp deploy)  and ensure that the theme name in on the array in `dist/conf.json`.

After that, you should be able to update your theme from your user profile in your user settings.
