TAIGO.IO EMAIL SETTINGS FOR GOOGLE MAIL

I am trying to setup ../taiga-back/settings/local.py

I am trying to use my gmail account as SMTP

gmail.com

I have entered the following:

EMAIL_BACKEND = 'django.core.mail.backends.smtp.EmailBackend'

EMAIL_USE_TLS = True

EMAIL_HOST = 'smtp.gmail.com'

EMAIL_HOST_USER = 'XXX'

EMAIL_HOST_PASSWORD = 'XXX'

EMAIL_PORT = 587

Then I clicked on my VIRTUAL MACHINE AND RESTARTED.

Mail cannot sent, TAIGA gave me the following:

OOPS Something Happened, We did not send the mail

Hello,

Your settings seems right for using gmail as smtp server. Did you check your taiba-back log files? -> they should be in ~/logs/

You must enable the access for your gmail account by others apps.
Access the url https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps  and click on "Activate".
You must access from your server.
