Whenyou use an icon instance in a new component, you should redefine its color even if it already has the desired color. Just change it to something else and then give it the color you want it to have for that state.
Say I want to make an update to the colours and I change them on the component, everything (the tag, the circle) automatically updates the new colours to the instances EXCEPT for the icons. The only instance that has the override is the one identical to the parent component (i.e. profile icon). The rest stays to the original colour.
Thank you, but I still have the same issue. With the lock it still gets grey no metter what and with the other icon some part are ok, others not. I updated in the original file, published the changes, updated in the current file. I aslo tried

making the input component inside the icon file
First I apologize if I have not responded before but I had problems with login page.
I forgot to mention that I tried to edit the monogame icon and change it with the default Icon. For the game icon I used Gimp(When I exported the image, i simply changed the extension) and for the edited file I used Paint.
I had a ridiculously hard time with this the last couple of days. Thanks to @Apostolique 's help I can also confirm it finally works.
You need to edit the project file and make sure you have a similar structure as this:
I'm not aware of Squarespace being particularly quick in the past with a logo change for a social icon, I'm assuming for now it will remain as the bird, which may be a good thing... depending on your view of the rebrand from something recognisable to something generic.
This is an upgrade my clients are starting to ask for. I could revert the social media icons set to my own custom images and add them to the footer but it would be great if squarespace simply updated their icon set.
Is there any news on when can we expect the new branding of Twitter to X to filter to our sites? Specifically for the icons to be amended. And in future, would we need to manually update the links? I believe the new branding guidelines is now publicly available.

As of 2020, there are so many resources scattered around the web that bookmarks are essential to remember what tool you are in. So many that my bookmarks are arranged in many folders. I have even eliminated the name in each one of them with the intention of having more space and it is really comfortable to click on the pure icon of the requested web page knowing with precision where it will take you.
One last thing I would like to recommend you adding is that sometimes the icons are black and can disappear on the bookmark bar. It would be great to have a tool that can change the icon color into negative or positive depending on the case and even better in an automatized way.
I switched from Chrome, am really happy so far with the new Edge (first time I like a Microsoft browser). My favorites show the icons I have given them in Chrome, but how can I change the icon directly in Edge? E.g. I have collected weather apps in a folder and want to "rename" the folder with a cloud icon.
I would recommend you to suggest this feature by sending feedback through the in-built feedback(Alt+Shift+I) feature in Microsoft Edge as the correct Microsoft Edge team will get to know about your suggestion and your suggestion will get a +1
@TheShaunSaw Typical MS - product quality depends on the department developing - seems like they usually just send out new version, and then wait for the mob to email bug fixes. Not sure the suggestion of fixes works, unless it's something that is a huge security risk.
Still waiting since v 2015 of SSRS to allow you to type lower case for some colors and not give you an error, e.g., you can type "black" but not "white" - it must have an inital cap (or maybe vice-versa - I switch to hex).
Clearly they fixed this on some color names, but didn't meet the deadline.
Good morning! I've been working with some clients with Inventor 2020 and they want to know if there is a way to change the Inventor icon colors in Windows? They prefer the yellow and blue icons instead of the new dark blue / light blue icons in Windows. I've not seen an option for this, like the "Amber" UI option in the Application Options, so I thought I would see if anyone knows of a way. Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thanks in advance for any assistance, hope all is well and have a most blessed day!
Good afternoon! Thanks so much for the update! The other question that comes up is the icon colors via the open / save dialog boxes, etc. Is there going to be a way to recover the old blue & yellow icons when opening and saving the files? Some folks don't care for the new dark blue / light blue icon colors there either. Just wanted to share that with you as well. Thanks for the help and have a most blessed day!
Thanks for the confirmation @johnsonshiue! If you could pass along those comments, it'd be great! While it's not that big of a deal to me, I know that some of my customers would rather see the old icon colors. Have an awesome and most blessed day!
Is there a way to change the color of the start up icon? Vault used to be a teal green/blue color, and now it is orange -the same color of the Inventor icon. I'll typically grab the wrong software when I'm scrolling through screens.
I have a LVOOP class hierarchy (LV2009) composed of several classes that when created I used the default randomly selected color for each class. For each class I have developed several member elements (VIs, Ctls, etc), and now I have decided on a color scheme I would like to adopt. Changing the color on the template icon from the class properties will allow me to propagate those changes to the class member VI icons but it does not seem to have an impact on the class control icons on each of the member VI front panels. The class data member control has the cube with the original color. I like the idea of keeping the standard cube glyph, but changing the cube color and shading pixel by pixel is not appealing.
There is not a way to associate the color of the cube glyph (class data member control icon) with the color of the class template. If I had just a couple classes I would just change them manually. If I had a whole lot of classes, I would probably draw the cube in another program (that would do the shading automatically) and turn the image into a glyph that you could use in the icon editor.
You will need to dig into it to properly understand it, but at the basic level this VI takes a grey cube picture as a constant and replaces the color on the grey cube w/ translated shaded colors and replaces those pixels on the input icon.
I have attached a psd file (inside the zip) that will allow you to shade any color cube for this glyph creation. Simply change the color in the "Color" layer and the shading will apply automatically. Please note, you will need to flatten all the layers before you can copy and paste this into labview.
Right click on the private data member (not the class) and choose either "Recolour Class Icon" or "Recolour Class Icon..." to change the icon using a copied version of the VI that Norman described 7 years ago. The version with ellipses opens a dialog allowing to change to a custom colour or choose a point by clicking on the picture of the class icon, the version without ellipses changes the colour based on the value of the class icon at the top-left corner, inset by one point (i.e. coordinate (1,1), inside the common black box).
The provider has only been tested in 2017, but is also backsaved (and untested) to 2013 (which I chose more or less at random - it might be possible to go back slightly earlier but I don't know when Project Providers became available).
They are pretty familiar to me from using the web app and i.Pad app over the last couple of years.
I found it a bit jarring at first when they appeared for me during testing, but you quicky get used to them.
If it was super easy to do then, meh. If it was a lot of work that could have been better used for actual improvements then I do feel disappointed. It seem to try to bring all of the SU apps together in appearance.
To be clear, I am not against change in any form. I could be happy to welcome a new and improved set of icons for SketchUp Pro. But to receive my support, the essence of the change would need to be a clear step forward in functionality, a change that shows deep understanding and consideration for the needs of the 8 hour a day Professional user, with a design objective to optimize efficiency and clarity.
As best I can tell, the Windows 10 implementation uses the microscope icon for both ImageJ1 and Fiji. Is it possible to change the icon on the Windows 10 menu bar to the Fiji icon? I created a suitable icon for Windows but have not been able to apply the change. Given that ImageJ1 and Fiji are different programs, could we have icons for each? I have been unable to change the icon on Windows. I should note that on my Macbook, the icon for Fiji is implemented.
