*Lots of additions today related only to The Thief of Bagdad (1940). Most of them are scans from the scrapbook I bought some time ago and published on the conradveidtforever website. Others come from a rare and very nice magazine dedicated to this film.
One idea in particular, one inspired by my love of the 1924 and 1940 THE THIEF OF BAGDAD films, has me very excited. It\u2019s based on some virtually untapped source material that hasn\u2019t produced significant films in more than half a century. That source material is the ONE THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS\u200A\u2014\u200Aor, as it was rendered in its first English translation, ARABIAN NIGHTS\u200A\u2014\u200Amythology.
