I have tried saving as PDF and importing to Affinity Designer, but the resulting objects are not usable, and in almost most cases I would be better off redrawing them from scratch. I do feel, after supporting DrawPlus for a very long time, quite let down... :-(
I desperately need to open a set of my DrawPlus X8 drawings from 2018. I have a paid-for copy of the program but I can't find my serial number to reinstall it. I've noticed the tip to use 881890 (?) as a universal serial number but how can I do this when the install process requires four sets of four numbers?

I have used DrawPlus - all versions up to 8- for many years and it is still my favourite design package. I also use Affinity Designers and it does not have many of the really clever features of DrawPlus and leans much more heavily towards Photoshop style of Design package. Affinity Design is a very good package and is reasonably priced. However for someone who needs a very good design package with cross-over into more technical drawings DrawPlus is superior. I do a lot of mock-ups of poster designs and find DrawPlus very fast and easy to size and accurately dimension all components of the design, rearrange and update them rapidly if client wants to try something different.
