Hi Hardy

We are trying to get Tagxedo working on Windows 7 desktops. We have
Silverlight v4.0.50917 installed, and as an admin the pages work
without prompts. However when our users try to create or view clouds
they are prompted to upgrade their version of Silverlight (which they
do not have admin rights to do) and are then foiled from using the
site. Is there a way around this install prompt, as the site does
actually work on the version we have installed, but not for our staff.

Many thanks

Tim,

This most likely means that your staff doesn't have the latest version
of Silverlight installed. Can you check the Silverlight version of
machines that failed? Right click on a Silverlight app and it will
tell you about the version. If Silverlight is freshly installed on a
Mac machine, it will also fail, but a reboot will fix it. I cannot
downgrade the version required by Tagxedo as it does depend on the
latest version (as of a few months ago).

Same problem here, but the silverlight download from microsoft fails
the checksum and won't mount. If I skip the checksum, it does mount,
but then fails during the installation. I'd guess it's a microsoft
problem as the installation also fails on my windows machine.
