1. Konduki brutojn sur kampo, por ke ili mangu herbon:

Kie li paŝtas la bovinojn?
Tiuj ŝafoj estas lia paŝtataro.
Sur tiuj kampoj paŝtiĝas (=paŝtas sin) grandaj brutaroj.
Li volas fariĝi ŝaf-paŝtisto.
Tiu paŝtejo jam ne plu taŭgas por paŝti tie bestojn.

2. Prizorgi kaj gvidi:

Li paŝtas la popolon jam multajn jarojn.
Ĝoju, paŝtanto kaj paŝatoj!
Necesas mortigi la paŝtiston kaj la ŝafoj diskuros mem.
