1. Rapide kaj ripete moveti ion en aero tien kaj reen:

Estas interese rigardi, kiel birdoj svingas siajn flugilojn.
Li ekvidis min kaj eksvingis la manon por saluti min.
La svingoj de ŝiaj kruroj estis tro fortaj kaj fiŝoj fornaĝis.
La patrino eksvingetis sian fingron por montri, ke li tion ne faru.
La bovo volis elsvingi sian nukon el la jugo.

2. Forte streĉi la muskolojn kaj subite ĵeti ion antaŭen:

Li svingis la ŝtoneton kaj ĵetis ĝin en lagon.
Li kursvingiĝis (antaŭen-ĵetis sin por salti).
La glitkurantoj svingiĝadis sur la akvo.

3. Ekmovi, ekimpulsi, instigi:

Lango nenion atingas, se ĝin saĝo ne svingas.
La svingpordo de la butiko subite malfermiĝis.
