Dear Bernd,

Thank you for your responses to my earlier posts! I am trying to run the quick test that you posted in your github:
source ~/tagslam_root/devel/setup.bash
roslaunch tagslam tagslam.launch bag:=`rospack find tagslam`/example/example.bag

and I get the following error:

How do I fix this? Also sorry if this is a duplicate post or a post that could have been solved on by googling, though I didn't see any solutions.

Did you build (i.e. compile) the repository?

Sorry, yes I did build the repo, though this is what shows:
I saw a post about the same build error (https://groups.google.com/g/tagslam/c/SHccvBZMCEI/m/TVAkaQaPAgAJ)  and did what they did to fix the issue, though it didn't work. How do I fix this?

What machine (hardware) are you trying to compile on, what operating system are you running? What version of ROS are you using?

I am running Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS on an HP notebook (amd A8-7410 processor with 10 gb ram if thats helpful) with  ROS melodic. CMake version is 3.24.1 and g++ is 7.5.0

I really don't know what is broken. On a clean Ubuntu 18.04 LTS installation it should work. The other group that ran into similar difficulties had installed a different compiler version.
