I'm trying to trash web pages I've tagged in Safari. I went to ~/Library/Caches/Metadata/Tags/Bookmark and deleted them there. But when I reboot or quit and restart the app Tags adds the webloc files back there again.

I gave all those I wanted to delete the same tag, selected all the files and went to Edit > Delete, but this always crashes the app. I tried selecting a few files at a time to delete them, but even though I select 10 files it will still say it's deleting the tag from all the files (not deleting the files themselves).

It's getting pretty frustrating. How can I get rid of them?

The files in the Caches folder are automatically built on each start
of Tags.
You'll find the base file in Library/Application Support/
Bookmarks.plist
This file stores all tagged bookmarks.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, I've managed to remove them with that. There's no easy way to do that? Hopefully in a future update it will be easier.
