Loved tags 1.x.

I do like tags 2.x but am confused about searching. With version 1.x
you had a search window that popped up and listed all available tags.
As you started typing a tag, it would filter the list results. I don't
see this option in the drop down search. The problem is I don't
remember the name of all my tags. So in order to search for a document
that I can't remember its tag, I am forced to bring up tag browser. I
think it is counter productive. I should be able to get a list of all
available tags from the drop down search as well. Is there any way to
do this?

Thanks

I second this---- started a thread about this issue earlier.
Alternatively, a global hotkey for invoking the tag browser would work
well for me. Currently, we have neither a global tag browser hotkey,
nor a tag list in search.

I, too, appreciated this functionality in Tags 1. The new search
functionality in Tags 2 seems to be nothing more than a redundant
duplication of Spotlight. In Tags 1, the search window and the
keyboard shortcut toggle between it and the tagging window was
ingenious!

Our intention is to provide a single place for doing searches.

One of the next builds will show applicable tags as part of the search
results.
Hope this one fits your needs.

Excellent, I will be looking forward to this build and I hope it
happens soon. In my opinion, tags is crippled until this feature is
released.
