Good evening.  Thanks to all who attended "Build Sanctuary Schools" on March 20.  We heard from a Chicago educator and Philly educators taking principled action to protect immigrant students and families.  Check out the event's program here and access resources linked on Slide 10.

Up against one of the most powerful companies on the planet, a group of Amazon workers embark on an unprecedented campaign to unionize their warehouse in Staten Island, New York. The documentary screening will be followed by a panel discussion with organizers from Amazonians United, Amazon Labor Union, and the Philly Whole Foods Union, moderated by PA State Senator Nikil Saval.

TAG Summer Reading Series: Book Recommendations:  Deadline for submissions is Thursday, April 24

Teacher Action Group-Philly is bringing back the Summer Reading Series, where educators, parents, and community members meet throughout the city to talk about books, education, and social justice! Please fill out this form to nominate books and let us know if you'd like to co-facilitate a group.  Look out for more information this spring!
