Good afternoon. Thanks to everyone who joined us for a great conference on April 18! We'll send a recap video soon. For now, it's last call to gather recommendations for our summer reading series; send us your recommendations by this Saturday, May 2.

Speaking of books, see below for two book events this Friday, which you can head to after joining fellow educators and workers for May Day in Love Park -- hope to see you there. Also take a look at this open letter from Lift Every Voice that TAG was proud to sign, and see below for LEV's budget season actions demanding $75 million to protect school-based staff and prevent cuts across all schools.

What do we want to read with others this summer to strengthen our liberatory pedagogies and grow our organizing power? The Summer Reading Series gives educators, parents, and community members an opportunity to meet throughout the city to talk about books, education, and social justice. Please fill out this form to nominate books and let us know if you'd like to co-facilitate a group!
