Inquiry to Action Groups: Call for Facilitators

Good morning.  TAG is excited to announce that we're bringing back Inquiry to Action Groups (ItAGs) in 2026!  We invite educators and education advocates to lead others in a group process of inquiry and action around social justice topics that are critical for this moment.  

Facilitators, you will:

• identify a topic that is critical for advancing social justice in Philadelphia's education system 
• design a 4 - 6 week learning experience for a small group of participants that will take place in February/March.  
• decide when and where to convene the group 

Past ItAGs have included:  Black Music as Rebellion; Queer Issues in Education; Social Justice Unionism; Restorative Justice in the Classroom and Beyond 

 

TAG members will support you every step of the way.  Interested? Have questions?  Express interest in learning more OR/AND submit a proposal here.  Deadline: January 1, 2026.

Also, before you go:  a reminder that there is a School Board Action Meeting this Thursday, December 4, 4:00 at 440. We expect testimony related to the distracting and dangerous congressional House investigation into allegations of anti-semitism in the School District of Philadelphia. We encourage you to show up to support those testifying.
