Hi and happy summer to everyone.  Now that you have a moment to look up and breathe, consider connecting with us for some reflection and study. We're taking on critical issues facing those who care about education justice:
  • What is the history of school closures, and how can that help us understand and fight back against the closures that were pushed through this year?
  • What can we learn from Palestinian voices to help us continue to witness and contest genocide in Gaza?
  • What can we learn from pattens of school "reform" in Philadelphia, and how can we center anti-racism in our current fights?
  • What immigration stories can we read with students to help us make sense of this moment, and how can we build both sanctuary and resistance in our classrooms?
Join us to connect, discuss, build.

TAG's summer book groups!

The Teacher Action Group Summer Reading Series offers an opportunity to build community while reading about critical issues in small groups. This summer's selection spans local to global struggles and includes graphic novels you might read with your students.  Groups meet on average 2-4 times over the course of the summer. Everyone is invited to join -- not just educators. We hope you'll connect, read and build with us this summer!  See more details about the books here and register here.

In solidarity,
TAG
