Hey all,

This message is being sent automatically to those of you who have joined the google group (taghkanic-com...@googlegroups.com) and manually for those who have applied to be either a Land Steward or a Committee Member. If you have not yet joined the group, and you are a committee member or would like to stay in the loop, please join us! There is already some chatter about forest stewardship planning and plans to gather to map existing trails.

You can press the button that says "Ask to join group". This will subscribe you to receive every email that is sent among Land Stewards, Committee Members, and CLC Staff about topics relating to the Community Forest. If you would like to adjust how often you receive emails from the group, you can navigate to "My membership settings" on the left toolbar and use the dropdown menu to choose from the following:
  • Each email—Messages are sent individually as they’re posted to the group.
  • Digest—Up to 25 complete messages are combined into single emails and sent daily.
  • Abridged—Summaries of up to 150 messages are combined into single emails and sent daily.
  • No email—Messages from the group are not sent.

The sharing settings have been updated so that access is restricted only to those who have joined the google group. If you're not seeing files or folders in the drive, make sure that you join the group with whichever email address is associated to the google account you use to view the drive.

In an effort to keep the files organized, editing and administrative permissions are limited, but anyone who can view the drive may add files to a folder named "To be filed." This is a the place to upload, for example, a shapefile of the trails you mapped.

Both of these links are now published on CLC's website, just in case you misplace this email! https://columbialand.org/get-involved/volunteering/tcf/
