Upcoming Tracking Event at the Taghkanic Community Forest

I hope you are all doing well!

 

My name is Jenifer Rosete, and I am CLC's Conservation Education Coordinator. We have likely met at a volunteer event or public program out at the CLC sites.

 

I wanted to share an upcoming Winter Tracking program scheduled for Saturday, January 17, happening at the Taghkanic Community Forest. This program will be led by Dan Yacobellis of Tamakoce Wilderness Programs. We will park and meet near the tree planting area. For now, the nearest address is our neighbors': 1330 County Route 27, Craryville, NY 12521; there will be signs with the CLC logo by the entrance.

 

As committee members and land stewards, I wanted to open registration for this group before we shared this event publicly. There will be two time slots available for this two-hour program. The first is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. And the second from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

 

We are offering this opportunity on a sliding scale rate, but as members of this group, you can select the Land Steward option to waive the fee. If you are interested, please sign up by December 14 for priority session selection. After this date, the waived fee option will be removed, and the event will be open to others to register.
