At my place of work we have incorporated a stream deck into our tricaster system. We also have a 40x40 black magic router that we would like to incorporate more. I have been doing to research and installed bitfocus and setup a button to route one source to a destination. It works in doing that but it also flashes black on every destination on the 40x40 for a split second before all going back to what was there. I can route from the router physical buttons and the videohub software without that issue. Any ideas on what might be causing that issue or if that is just an issue doing it through bitfocus?
What's weird is that the feedback works, just not the trigger. So for example I have buttons for Record and stop for my various hyperdecks, and I have a feedback setting that lights up the rec button when the hyperdeck is recording. This works and the button lights up when I press the physical record button on the unit but I'm unable to 'send' a record or stop message from companion.
Is it possible to use Bitfocus Companion and Keyboard Maestro together? Specifically, I'd like to use companion as the software controller for my stream deck, but also invoke keyboard maestro with the stream deck buttons which are using companion.
