New beta again! Feedback from this has been awesome.

- Fixed lyrics (needs lots of testing)
- Added a note to say loading iTunes (Tagalicious will open it itself
if it is not already open, this was causing some confusion)
- Fixed the auto updater! Give it a try!

For those that want a manual link, here it is
http://files.thelittleappfactory.com/tagalicious-windows/Tagalicious_Installer.msi

Thanks for all your help,
Ben

Great start - I had no trouble installing or opening/running.

Picked one song to tag that didn't have album artwork or lyrics - Snow
(Hey Oh) by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Tagalicious got the artwork, the
lyrics, and updated the album name to be more accurate. Awesome! Some
suggestions:

Picked a playlist with 20 songs and it gave an error message with an
error log that I have pasted at the end of this post. After it gave
this error message, I checked what it had done, and for 16/20 songs,
it updated information correctly and I sent to iTunes. Perfect. For
one song, it shows a red exclamation in the top right corner and did
not do anything for it. Being that this is a Linkin Park song off the
Hybrid Theory album, I can't think of any specific reason why only
this song would not work. For one more song, instead of pulling the
album the song was from, it pulled the album from a movie soundtrack
it was on. A little annoying, but not the end of the world. For two
more songs, no lyrics were found. Given that the artists were well
known (Seether and Sick Puppies) I did not know why lyrics were not
found for these songs.

Good luck fixing things. I like the app, but there is certainly a lot
of room for improvement!

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I tried the "Tag All" option for my 2700 song library and got an error
from Windows that Tagalicious had stopped working.

Forgot to mention above that I am on Windows 7 Home Premium.

Mine just keeps freezing when its loading my library. Also whenever I
hit Find Tags, it just freezes.

On Win7 Ultimate
61gb library 9827 songs.

@Derek Thanks for the feedback and the crash report, those are very
useful. As for some songs not getting tagged, we really have no
control over that as we use an external database to do the lookup. A
red exclamation mark meant it didn't find anything.

As for the people with large libraries, what does the app freeze on? A
screenshot would be good. Also do you have iTunes open when you start
the app or not? I suspect its not frozen, just could be more obvious
that it is loading something and its taking a while which causes
windows to think it is not responding.

Thanks, Ben

I've put in another half hour using the app. At it's core, I really
like it, but there are a few things that are taking a lot of the
enjoyment out of it for me:

1. It is crashing pretty easily when I:
-Click on several individual songs quickly
-Sort music by artist
-Try to tag a selection of songs

2. No progress bar - it would be helpful to know how long it's going
to take to tag a selection

3. It is getting hung up easily - When tagging songs, the same song
will flash up on the screen three times in a row, so it feels like its
either tagging the same song several times or the same screen is
blinking on and off needlessly.

4. It takes a long time to repopulate every time it opens. Also, it is
including podcasts and is double listing a lot of my music. While some
of this could be my fault (Probably), it is a little annoying to have
songs listed several times.

I tried to tag a large portion of music again to give you feedback. I
made sure to select only individual songs, no podcasts, and kept a
pretty close eye on its progress. It went through 30 albums or so
successfully, but crashed in the middle of just another album. I only
get a message from windows that it has stopped working, so here is a
screenshot, although I don't know how helpful it will be. I'm not the
absolute best with computers - if there is a way to get a more
detailed error message from this crash that I don't know about, I
would love to try and help.

Hope this helps, even if only a little bit

New link doesn't work. Probably something that has to do with gmail. At least people won't be installing it from here :D

Auto Updater downloaded correctly, then gives an error saying the
program is already installed and that I have to uninstall it before I
can install the new version.

1. Any messing with itunes(deleting) causes the program to not work
and I have to restart it.

2.Tagging program is nice, except right now after I found the tags and
picture for a song, and I click other songs, it applies the same tags
and picture to that song even though the songs are completely
different.

Wow lots of feedback today, thanks guys! Auto updater I should be able
to fix, looking into the crashes however. Hopefully get something out
to you guys that fixes these problems.

As for finding the incorrect album art, click the wrong picture and
see what else comes up, is it all wrong?

Thanks!

As far as I was able to tell, it was crashing when loading all my
music into it.
Progress bar for loading all the music would be nice as well.

I've also tried just leaving it and keeping it but the state didn't
change from non-responsive.
