I have about 4,000 mp3s. I have tagged them all with Tagalicious. It
took days using my macbook pro. I ended up having to do it in small
batches. I just tried it at home with my quadcore system and giving
tagalicious a thousand songs causes it to max all four CPU cores and
still take a VERY long time to process.

Any configuration I can do on my end? Not that it is a product that I
will use often (once they are tagged correctly, there is not much need
to run them again and my music collection is not growing much at this
point).

Hello Jervin,

My music library is around 10,000 songs at this point, ranging from mp3 to FLAC and etc. Most of them were already tagged correctly, just about a thousand needed tagging. And unless someone else here has a solution for you, I found that Tagalicious works best in small batches, I know this isn't the response you probably want and I've tried many different methods. Even just leaving my computer alone for hours upon end, the program just crashes. I found success using batches of 100. Although recently, my Tagalicious (just opened and tested) actually removes the album artwork from my songs, despite it being the correct one. So I'm curious to see if anyone has a solution to your problem (other than the 100 at a time method, which is hardly a solution) or to my newly acquired problem...

Sorry,
Joe
